    (PG) This adaptation of Jack London's wilderness tale focuses on young Jack Conroy (Ethan Hawke), who has arrived in Alaska to search for a gold mine. When Jack encounters White Fang, a dog/wolf hybrid who has been cruelly treated by his owner, Beauty Smith (James Remar), he rescues the canine from the jaws of death during a fight with a fierce bulldog. Aided by his friend Alex Larson (Klaus Maria Brandauer), Jack nurses White Fang back to health, and the animal becomes a close companion to the men.

Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn't fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results.

Weeks back in September, the verdict came down: the good people of Lebanon can most definitely -- non-shyly -- showcase their SOUND. A spectacular 200+ crowd of voices rang true throughout the beautiful Capitol Theatre. And now at the holiday season? This will only be MORE MERRY. Join us. The theater will again be set as an open hall in the front -- with ample, cushioned seating in the back. Courage and courage juice for our endeavors WILL AGAIN POUR through barely man-made heaven-sauces of THE BLACK ABBEY BREWING COMPANY.
